Steel winds

A poem.

A quiet loneliness floats my soul
When steel winds blow in hard
And overhead angels fall from ear
There is no knowing why.

Ghosts of love songs
With the universe tuned in
Cavernous spaces of thought
To breathe in art
Sometimes howling winds
And lightning
I do my best
Thinking in.
