Two reptiles

A poem.

Two reptiles at the bar
Feeding off one other
Coiled around themselves
Heads tilted back
Mouths pursed
Arms around shoulders
Whispering poison
As they embrace
One thing makes me dread
For humanity
Above nearly all:
The nature of a snake
Cannot be arrested
And never rests.
