The Temple

A poem.

Armed with love
And crazy ways
Bold, open, honest
You dazed me quickly
Stunned my mind and
Had my fun with me
We took our fun together
Warmed our hearts against the weather
Taking a million explosions
And outdoing all
Who entered our temple
To ransack its treasures
Until the last time
When the shifty monk snuck in
Whispering poison
Arm around your shoulder
Or was it mine?
Walking us down
The garden path
With such self-assurance.
